My work is problem-driven and research-informed.
I’ve led projects in a variety of design disciplines (including service design, UX, industrial design, visual and brand) across many industries, including healthcare, retail, telecom, CPG and hospitality.
My very favorite kind of design problem are “undiagnosed design problems”. These are problems involving any kind of system whose success depends on human behavior. To the untrained eye, they don’t even look like design problems at all. they look like management problems, or political strife, or process or policy problems. But they design problems, and they are impossible to solve without design methods.
